Costa Rica Will Increase Attention to Drug Users

San Jose, Nov 6 (Prensa Latina) The Institute on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (IAFA) will open four new centers to treat drug users in Costa Rica, where the consumption and sale of narcotics is one of the main current problems.
The general director of the IAFA, Javier Vindas, pointed out that his entity -scribed to the Ministry of Health- works independently and promotes through different programs the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of addiction to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. .
Quoted by the digital newsletter, Vindas said that with the new Centers for Comprehensive Care in Drugs (CAID) in Pavas, Perez Zeledon, Heredia and Liberia, there are 12 that work throughout the country, since before they were inaugurated eight in San Ramon, Puntarenas, Quepos, Santa Cruz
