Caravan of Immigrants (Including Costa Ricans) Headed to USA Are Crossing Mexico

Costa Rica News – The Human Rights Commission of Mexico has reported on the caravan of migrants crossing the country to get to the United States. It reports that some Costa Ricans and Panamanians are mixed in with the group. 86% of the migrants are from Honduras and the majority of the rest are from Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador.
One part of the caravan is in Veracruz heading to Puebla to join a group to Mexico City. The current caravan has been traveling by land since October 13th. The Commission reported that 5,500 migrants have already arrived in the Mexican capital. Many are in a migrant shelter installed in a sports center in the east of the city.
